Back in the early 1980’s, there were a bunch of car-loving folk who gathered on a regular basis to talk about cars, and anything related.  In 1992, some of those folk decided to make things a little more official, and Tri State Car Club was born.  Tri State Car Club Inc. was established on January 2, 1992 in Orange County New York.  Our club has always been focused on the preservation and enjoyment of all types of vehicles from Custom Cars to Classics, and everything in-between.  We pride ourselves on being a family-oriented, civic-minded club who enjoys giving back to our local communities.  For example, we organize charity car cruises to support individuals in need in our communities.  We also donate funds and time to local charities, churches and schools.  Recently, we have worked with BOCES to provide financial support to a selected student in their Automotive Program.

Come to one of our Friday Night Cruises and you’ll find lots of cars, friendly owners and spectators, and many young enthusiasts whom we hope will continue in the hobby as they get older.  Tri State Car Club is the longest weekly Cruising Car Club still active in Orange County.  Our Car Cruises are held every Friday evening at the Playtogs Shopping Center located on Route 17M in Middletown.  Our Cruises start this year on April 23, 2010 at 6:30PM.  We are there every Friday until Halloween, which is a special Cruise with awards for Best Costume and Best Decorated Vehicle.  In addition to our Friday Night Cruises, we hold our big Car Show over the summer.  It is a terrific event with music, food, vendors, Tricky Tray and lots of cars and fun.

Our Web site, www.tristatecarclub.com, is an excellent source for information about Club events, Club news and other information.  Tri State Car Club holds meetings once per month, on the second Tuesday of the month.  The meetings are held in the Wallkill Community Center located at 8 Wes Warren Drive in Middletown.  Wes Warren Drive is off Route 211, just east of the entrance to the Galleria Mall.  Our meetings start at 7:30PM and usually last about an hour.  Guests are always welcome.  If interested in becoming a member, you can apply via our Website under the “Application/Form” link on the left side.  Or better yet, come meet us in person under the tent at any of our Friday Night Cruises.  We have Club Application forms on hand.
